Imagine a warm afternoon, lounging on a terrace in a hilltop town in Italy. You’re gathered with family and friends at a large table, talking and laughing and enjoying delicious cheese, wine and small bites while the sweetness of life and simple pleasures washes over you.
Now imagine you could reproduce this sublime feeling in Waco.
That's La Bottega
- About Us -
From the family who brought you Italian fine dining through Di Campli’s, welcome to La Bottega, a restaurant and much, much more. It’s a tribute to the Italian childhood of brothers Massimo and Marco Di Campli. It’s a taste of Italy and the best Italian cheese, wine, sandwiches and pizza you’ve ever had. Don’t forget the gelato, which the Di Camplis use to create innovative desserts.
La Bottega is also a venue, an ideal space for large groups to gather with a menu perfect for catering to those larger groups, from family celebrations to business functions.
While patrons are more than welcome to enjoy their repast in the La Bottega space, the restaurant also has a market aspect, offering imported cheeses and other high quality charcuterie items for purchase by the pound, to enjoy and entertain at home. Patrons can also join the La Bottega wine club, offering bottles at discounted retail prices. Look for La Bottega gift baskets, featuring perfectly paired, high quality food and wine.
At La Bottega, you’ll find the same attention to quality food, service and atmosphere that you’ve come to love at Di Campli’s, but with a slightly more laidback feel. La Bottega is another way for Massimo Di Campli to bring an authentic Italian experience to Waco and a way for him, with the help of Marco, to share the love of his first home with his current home.
- Growing up Di Campli -
Massimo and Marco both worked in the Grand Cayman Islands which is where Massimo met Kristen, who would become his wife and the reason he would move to Waco. Three children and two restaurants later, Massimo loves serving and sharing his Italian heritage with Waco and now has his brother Marco to help him with that mission.
